Joining 2 Homeschool Co-Op's

We will be joining 2 Co-Op's this year but on different days and at different times.  This is our schedule as of right now:

T.H.A.T. (Teaching Hearts About Truth)
Every Monday from 9 am til Noon
Fall Semester is Sept thru Nov
Spring Semester is Feb thru April

Makahla will be taking these classes:
FALL -- Animals
FALL -- Dinosaurs
FALL -- Art

SPRING -- Wild Ohio
SPRING -- Human Body
SPRING -- Drama (at the end of April the entire co-op puts on an end of the year performance for family/friends)

Amyah will be in the Kindy class the entire 3 hours (which I will be teaching) and we will be doing:
FALL -- Open Gym with planned out activities to get the wiggles out
FALL -- Five In A Row - Cranberry Thanksgiving Lapbook
FALL -- Science will be the Seasons for Fall and Winter

SPRING -- Open Gym with planned out activities to get the wiggles out

SPRING -- Five In A Row -- Book is TBA but there will be a corresponding Lapbook/Ongoing Activity to go with this
SPRING -- Science will be the Seasons for Spring and Summer
SPRING -- Drama

Chance will be in his PreSchool class but the subject matter is still yet to be determined.

C.H.E.C.C. (Christian Home Educators of Clark County)
Every other Friday (give or take) from 9 am til 3:30 pm
September  thru May

Makahla will be taking these classes:
9:30-10:30:  Spanish
10:30-11:30:  Kinder Music
11:30-12:30:  Math Flash Cards and Fun Games
12:30 to 1:30 LUNCH
1:30-2:30 Health, Safety, Manners

Amyah will be taking these classes:
9:30-10:30: Spanish

10:30-11:30: Kinder Music
11:30-12:30: Kinder Gym
12:30 to 1:30 LUNCH
1:30-2:30 Health, Safety, Manners

Chance will be taking these classes:
9:30-10:30: 1st Friday will be Storytime with Miss Maggie and 2nd Friday will be Before Five In A Row

10:30-11:30: Kinder Music
11:30-12:30: Kinder Gym
12:30 to 1:30 LUNCH
1:30-2:30 He will either go to the nursery and have playtime or if he is having a "bad" day then he will sit with me in Makahla and Amyah's class and do a fun activity I have for him.

After 2:30 there aren't any classes that pertain to us so our day will end here.

Our days will be plenty busy but we will get lots of schooling in and the kids will be having FUN!

I have heard so much about this oil and thought I would finally try it. My excuse to finally get it was I found a great little homemade recipe online for diaper rash (or prevention of) using Aloe, tea tree oil, etc. (I will post this recipe later). Let's Eat Organic! In Season and Out -

My family and I have been trying to switch as much as possible to all natural and organic. It is a bit overwhelming when you think of all the food that is out there to choose from. So I thought in order to make things easier for me when I shop I would compile a list of foods that are best to eat Organic while others are better to eat All Natural and then of course there are the foods that you just can't really get around or may be okay to eat. So to get started this is the Organic portion. For a good article click here . I used to shop mainly at Aldi's and supplementing at Meijers with a an occasional Wal-Mart thrown in. But I have to admit that I have a problem. Do you wear makeup? Yes.  I wear just a bit on occasion.  I wear brown eyeliner, black mascara and a bit of neutral eyeshadow (browns or purples - not like royal blue purple but subtle).  I like to do this for my hubby as well as a pick-me-up to myself.  I also wear tinted lip glosses.  Once a year I get all dolled up to go to my Hubby's company End of the Year Party and then I wear my hear real fancy with a bit more make-up with a new (or new from thrift-store) skirt and blouse and of course got to have some beautiful stylish high heels.
