I have been wanting to learn to sew. I get a wealth of hand me down clothes for my girls of which I am ever so grateful and my girls are always well dressed but I have been wanting to supplement with other clothing as well. Thus the reason to want to start sewing.

I have the desire to provide something for my children made with my own hands and now I have that opportunity (because of the desire and the generous loaning of my father-in-laws sewing machine).
So I found this great sewing blog that has just started up and she is trying to get the word out. In helping her get the word out I have the chance to win a free pattern. I have heard so much about this oil and thought I would finally try it. My excuse to finally get it was I found a great little homemade recipe online for diaper rash (or prevention of) using Aloe, tea tree oil, etc. (I will post this recipe later). Let's Eat Organic! In Season and Out -

My family and I have been trying to switch as much as possible to all natural and organic. It is a bit overwhelming when you think of all the food that is out there to choose from. So I thought in order to make things easier for me when I shop I would compile a list of foods that are best to eat Organic while others are better to eat All Natural and then of course there are the foods that you just can't really get around or may be okay to eat. So to get started this is the Organic portion. For a good article click here . I used to shop mainly at Aldi's and supplementing at Meijers with a an occasional Wal-Mart thrown in. But I have to admit that I have a problem. Do you wear makeup? Yes.  I wear just a bit on occasion.  I wear brown eyeliner, black mascara and a bit of neutral eyeshadow (browns or purples - not like royal blue purple but subtle).  I like to do this for my hubby as well as a pick-me-up to myself.  I also wear tinted lip glosses.  Once a year I get all dolled up to go to my Hubby's company End of the Year Party and then I wear my hear real fancy with a bit more make-up with a new (or new from thrift-store) skirt and blouse and of course got to have some beautiful stylish high heels.
