How does Your Garden Grow Part III

Whew! Today has been a BUSY day! Here is my breakdown for my day:

* Woke up yesterday morning at 6 am and from 6-6:45 I cleaned my kitchen, started a load of laundry, and then headed out to Walmart for groceries while Hubby and littles were still asleep.

* Arrived home around 10:30 am to unload everything and gave out surprises to my littles, some new shoes for Chance and night lights for both of the girls in their bedroom and Chance's bedroom

* Then started another load of laundry and took the 3 loads of laundry off the clothes line (which I left on overnight, *grin*)

* Then I sat down for a snack while hubby was outside mowing the grass again

* While eating snack Hubby came in and said he could use my help replanting the garden.  So I finish up the snack and head on out.
  • Then went out to help hubby in garden (pics below). About half of our seeds did not germinate so we had to replant some beans, corn & snap peas, zucchini, squash, and cucumber.
  • After doing this we went ahead and planted a row of carrots and marigolds. Then 2 mounds of Organic watermelon and 1 mound of pumpkin. Hubby and kids came inside and I found a place to plant some Nasturtiums (about 30 seeds) and I can't wait to eat some!
My garden is starting to look so pretty and I can't wait until more color explodes in my garden - RED and YELLOW ripe tomatoes, GREEN and RED bell peppers, YELLOW squash, ORANGE carrots, YELLOW marigolds, RED-YELLOW-ORANGE Nasturtium flowers, GREEN cucumbers, GREEN zucchni, GREEN watermelon, and ORANGE pumpkins! I can't wait to see all the colors!

* Well after the garden I came in to make Ravioli with meat sauce and garlic french bread

* Dessert is Strawberry Shortcake (pic below)

* Now I have to work on finances and get more stuff done around the house.

Now on to those pics:

A visit from a little cutie!  My daughter wanted to hold Mr Froggy really bad but he wouldn't sit still long enough for her to grab a hold of him!

Daddy and Daughter Team doing a great job!

Hubby digging new holes for beans and corn (Beans are where he is and corn is where daughter in pink is)
To end a joyous day we eat our delicious Strawberry Shortcake

Blessings until next time!  ~Micki
